DISPERSE members take part in YorNight

Robyn Inglis and Matt Meredith-Williams took part in York's contribution to European Researchers' Night, showcasing the impact of research in more than 300 cities in 28 countries on one night.

This is a European Commission initiative that gives members of the public a chance to meet researchers and learn about their latest discoveries. The event took place on 26 September and York was one of just seven locations across the UK to take part in this initiative.

The DISPERSE team presented posters, hands-on exhibits and demonstrations with other researchers from the Archaeology Department on 'Feeding Time' - how people obtained their food in an era before the existence of global supermarkets. This was one of many events organised across the City and open to members of the public
